Last summer I photographed a traveling carousel at our state fair. While looking at the photos I realized the horses were copies of some of the famous carousel figures and I decided to paint them. All the horses on the fair carousel were white so I have enjoyed changing colors and, in this figure, adding a little iridescent paint for panache.
